Overview
People working out at home usually have no one checking their form. FitVision acts as a virtual personal trainer, using the camera to give real-time feedback and build workouts tailored to each user.
Features
- Real-time feedback: Google's MediaPipe pose detection tracks the body to count reps and flag bad form
- Adaptive workouts: a machine learning model sets each user's target reps based on their past performance
- Progress tracking: workout history is stored in a SQL database on AWS and shown in interactive D3.js charts
Recognition
FitVision received the Promising STEM Innovation Award from Samsung Solve for Tomorrow, a national STEM competition, in December 2025.
